I don't get to do a lot of illustration, but I always enjoy a reason to run back to my cartooning roots. This is a collection of work I did in the last few years, mostly as volunteer work. There are a couple of cartoon type drawings that worked for applications the client needed, but the bulk of these are recreations of historic unit emblems for the Civil Air Patrol. These units were coastal patrols during World War II, and I was asked to help recreate them when the volunteers who flew these missions were awarded the congressional gold medal in 2014.
